Fewer Business Cards, More Sincerity: The BforB Tišnov Club Ignites a New Era

On Wednesday, October 2, members of the Business for Breakfast Tišnov networking club gathered for an event that broke from the usual routine. Instead of a quick round of introductions and exchanging business cards, we met from 4:00 PM in the charming setting of the Laskala pension to do something much more important – to pause and talk.

The primary goal was not to make deals, but to restart and deepen the very functioning of our group. We dedicated four hours to an open and honest discussion about what we expect from the club and from each other, what our business and personal ambitions are, and how we can collectively set rules that make sense for all of us.

A Symbolic Fire and an Open Atmosphere

The magical spaces of the Laskala pension, which combine a cozy interior with a pleasant outdoor garden, created the perfect backdrop for an informal and deep debate. And to top it off, a historic moment occurred: for the very first time, a fire was lit in the pension's fireplace. The flames became a symbol of the entire evening – a symbol of the warmth of human relationships, the energy of new ideas, and a shared passion for the future of our club.

It was refreshing to set aside the "business masks" for a while and talk about what is truly important to us. It is in such moments that the strongest and most valuable relationships are born, relationships that go beyond ordinary business contacts.

What Did We Take Away?

Not badges and dozens of business cards, but something much more valuable. A clearer vision of where we are heading as a club, and a renewed sense of belonging. It turned out that sharing our own goals and expectations is the best way to build a community where members not only recommend business to each other but also support, inspire, and push each other forward.

This evening was not just another networking event on the calendar. It was time invested in the foundations upon which we want to build a strong and prosperous club. And that fire in the fireplace? It continues to burn within us.
